At BLUESKETCH®, we take great care in selecting the materials for our products. Our goal is to find fabrics that are not only suitable for your daily fitness activities but also safe for you and the environment. We work exclusively with manufacturers and suppliers who share our passion for sustainability.
One of our primary material partners is ECONYL®, an Italian supplier that offers 100% regenerated nylon fiber made from recycled nylon waste. We use ECONYL® in most of our Nylon based Men's wear, as it not only looks amazing but also offers exceptional comfort and safety.
Another essential partner for us is REPREVE®. They specialize in 100% recycled materials, including bottles, and are transparent and traceable with U TRUST certification. The yarns from REPREVE® help optimize the fabric performance, and we use them predominantly in our women's fitness bras.
We also work with some local suppliers in Hong Kong who may not be as well-known as international brands but are equally suitable and ethical. As a company, we have a strong commitment to supporting local businesses and believe that working with local suppliers helps us to create a positive impact on our community. We carefully select our local partners based on their ethical practices, quality of materials, and commitment to sustainability. By collaborating with local suppliers, we are able to reduce our carbon footprint, support our local economy, and promote sustainable business practices in our community.

Utilizing plant-based dyes in garment production offers several benefits beyond being eco-friendly and safe for the skin. Our shipping boxes are consciously made with FSC certified cardboard, using a mix of both recycled and virgin fibers. We encourage our customers to recycle our boxes, as they are designed to be recycled since the beginning.
To deliver our garments, we use cute and sustainable tote bags that are perfect for reusing. They are ideal for carrying your gym shoes or towels, or for organizing your suitcase while traveling. Occasionally, we use biodegradable packaging for safety reasons, but we are constantly evaluating the need for each component to ensure that we use as little packaging as possible. All of your manufacturers are certified by either the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), SA8000 for social accountability, or the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) for responsible forestry. To ensure that the factories you work with align with your values and commitments to sustainability and ethical practices, each factory undergoes a compliance audit. The audit evaluates factors such as fair wages, reasonable working hours, and the impact on the environment.
In addition to certifications and standards, Bluesketch's commitment to supporting local small businesses is a top priority. The "Untouched Ocean" bra is a perfect example of this. It was produced by a small local business owner who was only 25 years old and owned a 100 square meter factory. Although the factory may not have met the highest standards of the world, the owner was dedicated to producing the best possible product for his customers. The owner was not just running a business for profit, but he was also working hard to support his younger sister's college fees.
When Bluesketch learned about the owner's story, it solidified their decision to work with local small businesses whenever possible. The company understands that it is not just about certifications and standards. It is about the people behind the products and their stories.
